Evidence and limits
FoodLasts publishes editorial storage records. Exact source coverage is incomplete. Each storage card distinguishes a matched source from an interval under review. A general USDA or FDA link does not verify every number or handling claim.
Review and automation
AI-assisted writing, translation and code checks are used. These checks are not a scientific review. No named credentialed professional has approved the full corpus. Machine translations remain pending human review.
Publication decisions
New or changed material claims need an applicable primary source with food state, conditions and a precise locator. Unsupported legacy material remains in a visible review queue. Shared advice is labelled by its scope; new comparison and freezing pages need an evidence and usefulness review.
Dates and corrections
